Mexica Libre began with the women I grew up watching.

The ones who carried families, started over, went without, made something out of very little, and still found ways to make life beautiful.

I often think about what they might have created if they had been given more time, more freedom, more choices.

And then I think about us now.

The generations of dreams and prayers we carry.

That is where Mexica Libre comes from.

Every piece is an act of remembrance — something beautiful to wear when you need to pause, take the breath, and remember how far we’ve come.

I hope these pieces are there for the promotions, the quiet mornings, the birthdays, the new beginnings, the hard seasons you made it through, and the ordinary moments that somehow become family stories.
